FIVE PRINCIPLES TO READING MONOSYBLE

1) each character = one syllable (see#5)
2) a unit may be broken into two halves, upper & lower
3) largest letter in unit is to be read first
4) smaller upper letter is read befor larger lower letter
5) a line bi-secting a character indicates 2 or more
syllables occupying one character
